Based on their religious views, crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) primarily aim to divert people from having abortions. CPCs also aim to discourage people from using contraception (birth control) and having sex before marriage. CPCs often use deceptive tactics and provide inaccurate health information to reach their goals.
All CPCs offer free pregnancy tests and information designed to deter people from considering or getting abortions. Many also offer a few limited medical services but do not follow national medical practice standards. Health and medicine organizations warn that CPCs pose risks. Learn more.
